The OTTO Ready hardware programs are intended to serve as a guide for developers, manufacturers and integrators of server, storage and other hardware to facilitate compatibility between their hardware offering(s) and the TMGcore OTTO platform.
By following the guidance within the OTTO Ready Hardware Program Guidelines, the organization will be able to obtain the OTTO Ready™ Hardware status. By developing an OTTO Ready™ Hardware offering, the organization can be assured that their hardware will be adequate for operation within the OTTO platform. Organizations with this status can provide potential and existing customers the assurance that their hardware is ready to provide an exceptional consumer experience within the OTTO platform.
OTTO Ready™ HydroBlades
The OTTO Ready™ HydroBlades include the server, storage or other hardware devices thatare designed or at least able to be cooled by the OTTO platform’s immersion cooling mechanism. These offerings will be installed into compatible OTTO units by end users and will be monitored and managed via the OTTOmanager platform.
OTTO Ready™ Components
OTTO Ready™ Components are hardware offerings, such as peripheral components, that are designed or cooled by the OTTO platform’s immersion cooling mechanism. These offerings will be installed into compatible OTTOblades, either by the manufacturer or the end user, and utilized in compatible OTTO units.
OTTO Ready™ Hardware Devices
OTTO Ready™ Hardware Devices are hardware offerings that are designed to enhance or support the capabilities of the OTTO platform or other OTTO Ready™ Hardware installed therein, but are not themselves designed or able to be cooled by the OTTO platform’s immersion cooling mechanism. Instead, these servers will be housed either within an OTTO unit’s integrated air cooled server cabinet, or elsewhere within the end user’s infrastructure. These offerings will either have their monitoring and management capabilities directly integrated within the OTTOmanager platform, or will facilitate the integration of the OTTOmanager capabilities into their own interfaces or services.
